For the Dough:

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup (200 ml) powdered sugar
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar

For the Cream:

  • 1 liter of milk
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 4 tbsp potato or corn starch
  • 1.5 cups of powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 g butter
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 400 ml whipped cream

For the Glaze:

  • 200 ml whipped cream
  • 100 g milk chocolate

For the Dough:

  1. Beat eggs and sugar until frothy. Gradually add sifted flour mixed with cocoa and baking powder in portions.
  2. Spread the dough on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. The larger the sheet, the thinner the dough.
  3. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20 minutes.
  4. After baking, let the dough cool on a rack.

For the Cream:

  1. In a saucepan, bring the milk, flour, starch, powdered sugar, and eggs to a thick pudding.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in the butter and vanilla sugar while still hot. Melt the butter and sugar into the pudding while stirring. You can use a hand mixer to get a smooth cream. Let it cool.
  3. Whip the cream until stiff, then stir it into the pudding with a whisk. Divide the cream in half.
  4. Spread one part of the cream on the cake (cut off the edges), crumble the edges over it, and then distribute the rest of the cream. Smooth it out and place it in a cool place.

For the Glaze:

  1. Once the cream on the cake is really firm, prepare the chocolate icing. Heat the cream and add chocolate pieces.
  2. Melt the chocolate while stirring until smooth.
